Scope and Contents

1st NRR Kenya and Abyssinia Advance into Ethiopia photograph album consists of 81 photographs in corners mount on 22 album leaves. The images depict white and Black soldiers, African people, wildlife, cattle, village life, and some photographs of killed people. Locations photographs include Nairobi, the Rift Valley in Kenya, Kolbio, Bardera, Tana River, Moyale, Yavello, Soropa, Giarso, Chinchilla, and the Alghe Forest.

The Women in World War II Greeting Collection is comprised of 25 World War II greeting cards designed to appeal to woman. To pass the censors, the cards were inoculated with light-hearted humor as well as some risqué humor. The cards represent a wide range of patriotic themes including the physical dangers, probable lack of food, interactions with superiors, and encounters with the opposite sex.

Scope and Contents The World War II propaganda leaflets consist of primarily 1-page, small leaflets. Some or all leaflets may have been distributed to American troops in Europe via air drops or by other means by German forces and all leaflets are in English (with occasional pronounced vocabulary directed to American or British forces, with rare German spellings of words). Scope and Contents

The World War II war bonds leaflets promote the purchase of United States war bonds. There are three fliers for the 4th War Loan. Four items are payroll deduction cards for the Third, Fourth, and Fifth War Loan programs. There are also two copies of a cash payment plan card for the Fourth War Loan program.
